Welcome our PA3 Math and Science Wiki

This Wiki will be used to provide resources and information to teachers involved in the PA3 Grant initiative from Chester County Intermediate Unit. This grant partners with NASA and the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, Bucknell University, Immaculata University and Lycoming College. Teachers from school districts throughout the state receive extensive professional development in the areas of Math, Science and Technology.

Albert Gallatin High School Zero Robotics Team

Albert Gallatin High School computer science students pose at the National Zero Robotics Finals in Boston. Zero Robotics competition is offered to high school students in the United States and the European Union. It is sponsored by M.I.T. in conjunction with NASA and DARPA. Students have been competing internationally since the beginning of the school year and have progressed through several levels of competition. U.S. and E.U. finalists saw their computer programs run on the SPHERES satellites aboard the International Space Station on January 11, 2013 at M.I.T. The 2012 PA3 Math/Science Summer Institute took place at Immaculata University July 30 - August 3. Teachers were engaged in deepening their content knowledge and learning new methodologies for engaging their students in STEM Curriculum.
